Senior Control Systems Engineer - The Role: Working as a key part of the engineering team, you will be delivering PLC & SCADA solutions for a broad range of industries, alongside mentoring other Engineers within the automation team.
As a Senior Control Systems Engineer, you will: Collaborate with project teams and management to provide cost-effective, technically acceptable solutions Develop Automation & Process Control System solutions, including software and hardware Assist in delegation of work to the engineering team, providing technical guidance & support Working with the Controls Manager to actively promote the business within the current client base
Senior Control Systems Engineer - The Person: A degree level education BSc or BEng in Engineering/Science or equivalent in Electrical, Control Systems Engineering Experience of PLC & SCADA systems design with Siemens, Rockwell or Schneider – multiple packages preferred Experience with DCS systems including PCS7 and PlantPAx is highly advantageous Ability to work to tight deadlines, use own initiative and complete full turnkey projects from design to commissioning Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skill Proven experience of taking a lead or senior role within a controls engineering team within a systems integration environment
