Senior Control Systems Engineer - Cumbernauld, Scotland Are you a Senior Control Systems Engineer looking to work for an Independent Systems integrator renowned for delivering first-class service within the Automation space. They cover the pharmaceutical, chemical, Oil & Gas, Water, and Food & Beverage industries. As a growing Integration partner, they specialise in providing cost effective solutions for Process Control, Automation and Information systems. This is a permanent, hybrid opportunity offering a salary of £40,000-£45,000. You MUST be able to code independently in either Siemens, DeltaV, or Rockwell. All candidates require a Full, UK, Driving license and a minimum of 5 years of self-directed working experience. Please note that all applicants MUST have the full rights to work in the UK, as sponsorship will not be offered. What does the role entail? You will be a key member of their growing Engineering team in Cumbernauld, Scotland. This is a team of 10-12. The IDEAL candidate will have to be able to code independently and work autonomously, and you will be working on bigger plant wide systems with plant wide SCADA/Historians. You will mainly be working within the Pharma, Speciality Chemicals, and Beverage sectors, and will be given great ownership of the role. You will also be required to train, support, and develop members of the team and new apprentices and Juniors that join. What skills will you have? Experienced in using current and legacy Siemens PLC & SCADA products Good Rockwell experience (with PlantPAx) can be considered PCS7 experience an advantage Knowledge and experience in full lifecycle documentation with respect to Validation and GAMP. Liaising with customers, developing requirements, systems design and engineering. Designing and testing electrical control panels, is an advantage Experienced in using either DeltaV SIS or DeltaV Batch, is an advantage Knowledge and experience in full lifecycle documentation with respect to Validation and GAMP.
