Are you a Control Systems Engineer able to program Allen-Bradley / Rockwell systems from scratch looking to step up into a senior position with a focus on safety within the lucrative Rail industry?

In this role you will be working within a Colchester based office alongside a team of industry experts. Trained by the best, you will learn to design comprehensive automated safety and control systems used throughout international Rail networks.

Involved in all aspects of the project lifecycle, you will be using AutoCAD for Electrical schematics; programming Allen-Bradley PLC's from scratch and assist in the development of SCADA and HMI's. You will have to occasionally travel to customer sites to commission systems across the UK and internationally.

This company have carved out a profitable niche for automated safety systems within the global Rail market. With 25 years of expertise, they are moving through a period of rapid growth and are looking for Control Systems Engineers to aid in the development of new projects.

This role would suit a Control Systems Engineer from an Allen-Bradley / Rockwell background who is looking to step up into a senior position and be recognised as a technical expert within a high performing team.

The Role

Design and programme Allen-Bradley PLC's from scratch
Work on projects from concept to completion
Develop 2D Electrical AutoCAD schematics to integrate control systems
Assist in the development of SCADA and HMI's
Travel to customer sites across the UK and internationally to commission systems
The Person

Control Systems Engineer, Controls Engineer or similar
Ability to programme Allen-Bradley / Rockwell PLC's from scratch
Full project life-cycle knowledge - ability to create 2D electrical schematics in AutoCAD
Uk Driver's License - Commutable to Colchester
