Senior Corporate Tax Manager In House

Marks Sattin are delighted to be one of the UK's leading retail businesses to recruit a Senior Corporate Tax Manager.

As Senior Corporate Tax Manager you'll be part of one of Yorkshire's largest in-house tax teams, supporting a Head of Tax who values development, autonomy, and influence. This role offers real breadth - far beyond standard compliance - and the chance to work across the entire business, playing a key role in shaping tax strategy and business decisions.

What the role involves:

You'll work on a wide range of direct tax matters, including:

• Transactional tax support
• R&D claims and processes
• HMRC enquiries and correspondence
• Transfer pricing and financing
• Tax accounting under IFRS
• Support with corporation tax compliance and reporting

This position offers exposure across the wider retail business, enabling you to build commercial understanding and influence decision-making at a strategic level.

What we're looking for:

• ACA or CTA qualified (or equivalent)
• Strong corporate tax background, ideally from practice or an in-house role
• Experience preparing corporation tax computations and statutory account disclosures
• A proactive, commercially aware mindset and an interest in developing broader business acumen

This role would suit either an experienced in-house Tax Manager looking for a broader platform or someone in practice ready to make the move into a commercially engaging environment.
