Senior Credit Controller

A industry leading manufacturing business is on the lookout for a skilled Senior Credit Controller to join their dynamic finance team. Based within a fast-paced, supportive department, you will play a key role in ensuring the business maintains a strong cash flow and minimal aged debt. Reporting directly to the Finance Controller, you'll be a central figure in driving results and supporting continuous improvement.

With continued growth projected across operations, the ideal candidate will bring proven experience in Credit Control, managing a complex and high-value ledger. In this position, you'll expertly handle overdue debt collection via phone and email, managing bank accounts and ensuring all relationships are maintained with senior stakeholders. You'll be confident working to targets, consistently meeting KPIs, and will assist in month-end reconciliations, ensuring all payments are collected and accurately allocated.

Skills required

• Previous experience in a Credit Control role within a fast-paced business environment, ideally within the manufacturing or industrial sector.
• Confident managing a busy ledger with multiple active accounts and large transaction volumes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with both internal teams and external customers.
• Strong problem-solving skills, capable of handling queries and disputes efficiently and professionally.
• A team-focused attitude, with the ability to manage your own workload while supporting colleagues when needed.
