Senior Cyber Security Specialist

A global Financial Services client of ours is hiring for an experienced Cyber Security professional to join a team in London who are embarking upon a critical programme of work. They need a driven, forward-thinking individual who can come in with a new perspective and make meaningful contributions to developing their next generation of cyber security protocols.

In this role, you will be working on greenfield projects, as well as existing cyber security initiatives, to deliver a comprehensive range of solutions for brokerage and financial product environments globally.

You'll be joining a dynamic and agile team where you will be able to develop your skills and knowledge, learning from an exceptional Senior Leadership team as well as gaining an opportunity to mentor juniors. An ability to collaborate with a diverse and talented group of professionals will be imperative and will allow you to influence the direction of the company’s cyber strategy and implement your ideas.

Must have:

• 5+ years of experience in Cyber Security and IT Security, including web application security, secure coding techniques, secure system design and secure operations.
• A degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Existing (or ability to gain) Security Clearance.
• Relevant certifications, such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA.
• Strong technical background as well as excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Understanding of Secure Software, a plus; Secure keys, Authentication processes, PKI, or X.509.
