Senior Data Advisory Lead

I'm working with a leading consultancy that is expanding its Financial Services practice and looking to bring on a Senior Data Advisory Lead. This is a strategic role where you'll work directly with Tier 1 financial institutions to shape and deliver enterprise-wide data strategies that drive transformation, ensure regulatory compliance, and unlock business value.

You'll join a collaborative team focused on helping clients become truly data-driven. The business is seeing increased demand for data-led transformation, and this is a fantastic opportunity to lead high-impact engagements and influence senior stakeholders across the financial services sector.

As part of this role, you will be responsible for some of the following areas:

• Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders operating at c-suite level
• Lead multi-disciplinary teams delivering complex data transformation programs
• Develop and pitch compelling data strategies to senior leadership
• Define and implement data-driven pricing strategies
• Design data operating models, target architectures, and transformation roadmaps
• Define data ownership models, stewardship roles, and quality KPIs
• Support metadata management, lineage tracking, and data cataloging initiatives

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Strong track record working in data advisory, strategy, or management roles
• Consulting experience within financial services
• Proven track record delivering data transformation in complex environments
• Strong knowledge of data governance, architecture, and analytics platforms
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills

This role offers hybrid working with flexibility around client site and office presence. A starting salary of up to £110,000 is available alongside a benefits package, including performance-related bonus, private healthcare, and funded training.
