Senior Data & Assurance Analyst

Requirements

• Analyse large operational datasets to identify gaps, anomalies, and inconsistencies
  
• Validate the accuracy and completeness of core datasets used for reporting or compliance
  
• Perform reconciliations across internal and external data sources
  

• Monitor ongoing obligations against defined rules, thresholds, or policies
  
• Identify cases of non -compliance or under -performance based on data evidence
  
• Support the development of data -led assurance frameworks and checks
  

• Produce structured evidence packs to support escalation, audit, or regulatory review
  
• Clearly document assumptions, checks performed, and limitations in the data
  
• Respond to ad -hoc analytical queries from senior stakeholders
  

• Work closely with reporting, operations, and delivery teams to ensure insights are acted upon
  
• Support continuous improvement of data quality and analytical processes
  

• Strong analytical capability (SQL, structured datasets, data interrogation)
  
• Experience working with operational, compliance, or assurance data
  
• High attention to detail and a methodical approach
  
• Ability to explain complex findings clearly to non -technical audiences
  

• Data Analyst, Assurance Analyst, Compliance Analyst
  
• Experience in regulated, data -sensitive, or public -sector environments desirable
