Job Description - Senior Data Scientist (Credit Risk)

OVERVIEW

The Senior Data Scientist role will involve
developing end to end machine learning models and other key data solutions. You
will be one of the key subject matter experts for data and AI within the
business, and will be expected to identify opportunities, propose solutions and
influence stakeholders. You will propose and deliver improvements to models,
workflows and data strategies. Reporting to the Head of AI and ML, you will be
enhancing our credit risk and valuation models in AWS, building discounted cash
flow models and exploring new machine learning and data science applications to
solve complex business challenges.


Requirements

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Essential:

  • Experience in developing machine learning
    credit risk models.
  • Experience working with Docker and
    containers
  • Strong problem solving ability.
  • Advanced Python experience.
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts
    clearly to non -technical stakeholders.

Preferred:

  • Degree in a quantitative or highly
    technical field (Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Engineering or
    similar).
  • Understanding of financial concepts such
    as discounted cash flows.
  • Experience working with AWS services.
