Senior Delegated Authority Auditor

We’re partnering with a growing insurer that’s building a brand new delegated authority auditing function and this is the senior auditor hire to support that build. You’ll be working directly with the Head of the team, be their right hand person and deputise in senior meetings and committee attendance in their absence. You’ll also be helping drive system build-outs, and ensuring robust oversight, have a real say in how systems, frameworks, and audit oversight are shaped from day one.

In this role, you will:

• Lead delegated audits across coverholders and TPAs, covering underwriting, claims, complaints and operational governance
• Produce clear audit reports and drive practical recommendations
• Escalate key issues and/or breaches to internal stakeholders
• Support and mentor junior auditors through peer review and coaching
• Collaborate with underwriting, claims and compliance on audit actions and themes
• Help shape systems, tools and methodology as part of a brand new function
• Attend industry events such as DARA and MGAA to stay connected with the market

To be consider for the role you’ll need solid delegated authority auditing experience and have a confident, independent approach.
