Senior Delegated Underwriting Assistant

You’ll play a key part in the oversight and management of Coverholders and TPAs, owning key processes from onboarding through to audit follow-up. With a strong pipeline of new delegated business and a team known for promoting from within, this is an ideal move for someone who wants variety, visibility and a clear path forward.

Key responsibilities

• Taking ownership of the Coverholder onboarding and monitoring process, including adherence to Lloyd’s standards
• Supporting oversight of DCAs and ensuring compliance with reporting obligations
• Reviewing audit schedules, scoping reports, and tracking audit recommendations through to resolution
• Supporting governance processes, including documentation of procedures and control frameworks
• Reviewing contract documentation and supporting the delivery of committee reporting packs
• Helping drive process improvement across delegated systems and workflows
• Acting as a point of contact across underwriting, operations and compliance teams

What you’ll need:

• Strong understanding of Lloyd’s delegated authority frameworks and regulatory expectations
• Prior experience in delegated onboarding, monitoring or audit functions
• A proactive, organised approach to problem-solving and documentation
• Clear communication skills and confidence working with internal and external stakeholders
• Previous experience within a Lloyd’s syndicate or managing agent in a similar role
