Are you an experienced Design Engineer or a Design Engineer ready to take the lead on complex engineering projects, innovative product development, and technical design excellence? We're seeking a Senior Design Engineer to join a growing manufacturing organisation where you'll play a pivotal role in developing industry-leading engineered products and driving continuous improvement across the business
Key Responsibilities
Lead the design and development of engineered products using advanced 3D CAD software. Produce detailed manufacturing drawings, assembly drawings, and Bills of Materials. Manage complex customer-driven projects from concept to production. Drive new product development and continuous improvement initiatives. Mentor and support Design Engineers within the team. Collaborate with production teams to improve manufacturability and efficiency. Ensure compliance with relevant engineering standards, regulations, and quality requirements. Provide technical support for proposals, quotations, and customer specifications. About You
Degree, HNC, or HND in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design, or a related discipline. Experience in engineering design within a manufacturing environment. Advanced 3D CAD experience, ideally SolidWorks. Strong knowledge of fabricated and welded products. Understanding of pressure vessel design and manufacturing processes.
