Senior Design Engineer

Senior Design Engineer | Aerospace | Outside IR35

ARCA is supporting an innovative aerospace programme in Bristol looking for a Senior Design Engineer to join the team on an initial 3 month contract.

This is a multidisciplinary design role focused on the development and integration of aircraft systems.

Responsibilities:

* Senior-level design and approval of CAD models and 2D drawings

* Verification of interfaces, tolerances and design assumptions prior to release

* Coordination with stress, loads, manufacturing, systems and wider engineering teams

* Resolution of design and interface issues through detailed design and release

* CAD and drawing release through configuration control processes

What they’re looking for:

* Strong aerospace mechanical design experience

* Confident user of CATIA / 3DEXPERIENCE (3Dx)

* Experience checking and approving detailed designs and engineering drawings

* Strong understanding of interfaces, tolerances and drawing release

* Composite design experience would be advantageous

Details:

* Initial 3 month initial contract

* Outside IR35

* Bristol based with hybrid working
