Are you an experienced M&E Design Engineer looking for hybrid flexibility, project variety, and real progression opportunities?

We're working with a leading Building Services consultancy in Ashford who are seeking a Senior Mechanical or Electrical Design Engineer to lead design delivery on a range of commercial and residential developments.

You'll be responsible for producing and reviewing detailed schematics, layouts, and calculations using AutoCAD and Revit, while ensuring all work complies with UK building regulations, CDM guidelines, and internal quality standards.
The role will involve working closely with clients, consultants, and internal teams, supporting project delivery and mentoring junior engineers.

The Role

• Produce and check design schematics, layouts and engineering calculations across multiple projects.
• Coordinate drawings using Revit/AutoCAD and liaise with other disciplines to ensure compliance with standards and regulations.
• Lead client meetings, respond to technical queries (RFIs, Tech Subs), and support junior engineers with training and mentoring.

The Person

• Strong background in either mechanical or electrical design within a building services or consultancy environment.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit with a sound understanding of UK building regulations and British Standards.
• Confident communicator with the ability to manage deadlines, solve technical issues,
