Senior Development Coordinator

Our client, is seeking a Senior Development Coordinator to join their team on a contract basis. This role involves leading and managing large-scale development projects, including schemes consisting of a couple of thousand dwellings.

Key Responsibilities:

Leading and overseeing large-scale development projects within the highways sector
Providing expert guidance and leadership on complex projects, ensuring the team can handle the detailed work
Ensuring effective development control and adherence to relevant policies and standards
Utilising traffic modelling software such as VISUM, SATURN, and other related tools for project planning and analysis
Collaborating with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders to ensure project success
Conducting thorough assessments and reviews of development proposals and their impacts on the highway network
Maintaining clear and effective communication with all project stakeholders
Managing project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively

Job Requirements:

Extensive experience in highway development and control
Proven track record in leading large-scale development projects
Expertise in traffic modelling and familiarity with tools such as VISUM and SATURN
Excellent leadership and team management skills
Strong understanding of relevant highway policies and standards
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
Solid problem-solving capabilities and attention to detail
Relevant degree or equivalent qualification in a related field
