Contract Length: Initially until April 2027

Location: York, Leeds, Newcastle or Doncaster - 3 days on site or office / 2 days from home

IR35: In scope

Pay Rate: £385 umbrella

Description:

Survey ecosystems and assess the diversity, profusion and behaviour of the different organisms within them.
Conduct field surveys to collect biological information about the numbers and distribution of organisms.
Carry out taxonomy, classification of organisms, applying sampling strategies and employing a range of habitat survey techniques.
Aerial photography, maps carrying, environmental impact assessment, analysing and interpreting data, using specialist software programs.
Work on habitat management and creation, write reports and issue recommendations.

Minimum Requirement:

Previous rail experience in preferred
Experienced and confident, comfortable working across senior management and front-line staff
Able to influence and collaborate across different disciplines and adapt to that.

More details:

Travel to various sites across North & East and East Coast will be required, along with undertaking field assessments/reports.
