£37,500 to £47,500 + Company Bonus

You will get the opportunity to lead ornithology projects, providing specialist advice whilst working with a team of experts. In this role you will scope, design and lead ornithological surveys, contributing your expertise to inform environmental assessments and management plans. You will be providing technical advice to internal colleagues and clients, produce technical reports and ensure the progression of projects.

The ideal candidate is passionate about protected species, looking to elevate their career with a leading consultancy that provides specialist training, clear progression to senior and principle roles. The ideal candidate will also have a Schedule 1 License and a degree in ecology or relevant field.

The Role

• Leading and manage ornithology projects
• Leading on ornithology surveys
• Produce technical reports
• Mentor and support colleagues
• Operate in accordance with the CIEEM/IEMA/CIWEM/IFM Professional code of conduct

The Person

• Relevant degree in ecology/environmental
• Membership with CIEEM
• Strong theoretical knowledge of ecology
• Strong report writing skills
• Full driving licence
