The Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Ecologist with ornithology expertise to play a leading role in shaping and delivering ecological projects across a range of sectors. You’ll lead specialist bird surveys, contribute to environmental assessments, and provide technical advice to both clients and colleagues. You’ll also have the opportunity to mentor junior staff and help grow a dynamic ecology team.

What’s Required?
The ideal candidate for this role will have most of the following:

• Strong experience in ornithological surveying, including breeding and non-breeding bird assessments

• Excellent bird ID skills and knowledge of UK species

• Experience leading projects and preparing technical proposals

• Degree or Master’s in Ecology or related field

• CIEEM membership, and a full UK driving licence
