Senior Electrical Design Engineer

Ready to take ownership of complex electrical design projects and become a key technical voice within an engineering team?
A specialist engineering manufacturer is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to design and develop advanced LV/MV electrical systems, support junior engineers and deliver projects from concept through to testing and commissioning.
What you'll be doing

Designing three-phase LV/MV power and control systems
Producing schematics, wiring diagrams and technical calculations
Reviewing designs and supporting junior engineers
Selecting electrical components and protection equipment
Supporting prototypes, FAT, SAT and commissioning
Working closely with mechanical, software and production teamsWhat you'll bring

Strong electrical design experience within power, generators, switchgear or industrial equipment
Experience using AutoCAD Electrical, SolidWorks Electrical or similar
Knowledge of three-phase systems, protection, earthing and panel design
Confidence leading design packages and mentoring others
An Electrical Engineering degree or related qualificationThis is an excellent opportunity to take on greater technical responsibility within a collaborative, specialist engineering environment.
