A highly respected London-based building services consultancy is looking for a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join its growing team. The team has doubled in size over the past 5 years and are only moving forward. The role of Senior Electrical Engineer:

You’ll join a supportive technical team, reporting to a Technical Director. You’ll work across a range of sectors, contributing to high-quality electrical design and project delivery.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading and contributing to detailed electrical designs across various project types
• Attending client and design meetings, both in person and virtually
• Mentoring junior team members and reviewing their work
• Writing reports, carrying out calculations, and engaging in site-based inspections
• Liaising with multidisciplinary teams including mechanical, sustainability and BIM specialists
• Delivering technically sound and sustainable engineering solutions

Job criteria:

• A degree in Electrical Engineering, Building Services or similar
• Progress towards CEng status with IET, CIBSE or IMechE
• Proficiency in Amtech and lighting design software
• A proactive, collaborative mindset and a willingness to learn
• Experience across multiple sectors is ideal (e.g. commercial, healthcare, residential)
• Familiarity with Revit/CAD is a plus, though not essential
