Senior Electrical Engineer

They are now seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to become a pivotal part of their dynamic and collaborative team-designing innovative electrical systems for landmark projects in healthcare, education, and beyond.

The successful Senior Electrical Engineer will:
* Take the lead on interpreting and executing complex project briefs, producing high-quality designs and specifications for Electrical Building Services systems such as lighting, power, life safety systems, and more.
* Use advanced calculation tools including Excel, Amtech, and Dialux/Relux to deliver accurate, professional engineering documentation.
* Collaborate seamlessly with international engineering and BIM teams, applying expertise in Revit and digital modelling to ensure top-tier project outcomes.
* Represent the firm in client and contractor meetings, conduct site inspections, and deliver comprehensive technical reports and surveys.
* Manage personal workloads effectively while supporting the wider team with project delivery, budgeting, and mentoring junior engineers.

The ideal Senior Electrical Engineer will bring:
* A degree in Building Services or Electrical Engineering, and be Chartered or working toward Chartered Engineer status with CIBSE or IET.
* Proficiency in essential software tools such as Amtech/ProDesign, Dialux/Relux, Electrical OM, NBS, and Microsoft Office; HV tool experience is advantageous.
* A strong understanding of energy efficiency, decarbonisation, and sustainable building design principles.
* Experience in performance evaluation, commissioning, and post-installation testing.
* A background in consultancy or contractor design environments with solid knowledge of technical regulations and best practices.
* Excellent communication skills, including report writing and client presentations, with proven ability to manage engineering responsibilities effectively.
* The ability to balance time, budget, and evolving project demands without compromising quality.
