Senior Electrical Engineer – Data Centre – Ferrybridge, Leeds

Our client is a dedicated Data Centre Construction company providing turnkey solutions to our clients, headquartered in Dublin and delivering throughout Europe. As an engineering-focused organisation, they have grown to become one of the leading and most trusted companies in our sector.

We are pleased to announce that we are currently seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join their team. This position will be based on-site in Leeds.

Responsibilities

* Lead Electrical Design Coordination
Oversee the development, review, and integration of all electrical designs (HV, LV, UPS, generators, lighting, containment), ensuring alignment between consultants, subcontractors, and construction teams throughout all project phases.

* Manage Technical Compliance & Standards
Validate that all electrical systems meet project specifications, client requirements, regulatory codes, testing standards, and mission-critical data centre performance criteria.

* Support Installation & Construction Delivery
Provide on-site technical leadership during installation, resolving design queries, guiding subcontractors, and ensuring high-quality delivery across all electrical works.

* Drive Testing, Commissioning & Handover Readiness
Coordinate pre-commissioning, energisation stages, FAT/SAT activities, and final sign-off documentation to guarantee all electrical systems are fully verified and ready for operational handover.

* Lead Stakeholder Interface & Progress Reporting
Act as the key electrical point of contact for project managers, design partners, and client representatives, delivering progress updates, risk assessments, and technical recommendations.

Requirements

Must have relevant degree level qualification or equivalent trades background

Must have 10+ years’ experience in a similar position on large scale construction projects (including Data Centres)

Must have UK Passport or RTW in the UK

Benefits

£80,000 - £85,000 + Accommodation + Allowance + Rotational Package
