The company is a well-established M&E contractor with a strong presence in the London fit-out market, delivering electrical packages typically ranging from £500k to £5m. They have built a strong reputation for their collaborative approach, consistent project delivery, and ability to maintain long-term client relationships across the commercial office, education, and mixed-use sectors. The Role – Senior Electrical Estimator You will take a lead role in pricing electrical packages typically ranging from £1m to £5m, working across multiple live tenders within the commercial fit-out and refurbishment sector. This is a key position within the pre-construction team, where you will be responsible for managing tenders from initial enquiry through to submission, while also supporting client engagement where required. Key responsibilities include: Leading the full electrical estimating process from enquiry through to submission Reviewing and interpreting tender documentation, drawings, and specifications Producing accurate and competitive cost plans and take-offs Managing supplier and subcontractor enquiries and analysing returns Leading internal tender review and adjudication meetings Preparing clear and detailed tender submissions Attending client meetings and post-tender interviews where required Supporting and sharing knowledge with junior members of the team Requirements Proven experience as a Senior Electrical Estimator within M&E Building Services Strong background in commercial fit-out and refurbishment projects Experience pricing electrical packages in the £1m–£5m range Stable employment history demonstrating reliability and commitment Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail Ability to manage multiple tenders and work to deadlines Confident communicator, comfortable in client-facing situations This role would suit candidates currently working as: Senior Electrical Estimator, Lead Electrical Estimator, M&E Senior Estimator, Electrical Pre-Construction Manager.
