This job would suit a highly skilled Senior Electronics Engineer with strong experience in analogue and digital electronics, embedded firmware development and full product lifecycle management. The successful candidate will join a growing R&D team and take ownership of complex hardware and software development projects while supporting the continued evolution of existing and new products.
Key Responsibilities for the Senior Electronics Engineer job in Bicester, Oxfordshire.
* Design and develop analogue and digital electronic hardware.
* Develop embedded firmware for microprocessor-based products.
* Manage products through the full lifecycle from concept to production.
* Apply Design for Manufacture (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) principles.
* Support EMC testing, product approvals and compliance activities.
* Design mechanical components, housings and test fixtures where required.
* Manage development projects, schedules and technical deliverables.
* Provide mentoring and technical support to junior engineers.
* Contribute to continuous improvement and innovation initiatives.
Skills & Experience Required for the Senior Electronics Engineer job in Bicester, Oxfordshire.
* Degree qualified in Electronics Engineering or equivalent.
* Strong experience in analogue and digital electronics design.
* Embedded firmware development experience.
* Knowledge of PCB design tools and development environments.

* Experience with Wi-Fi, cellular or other communication technologies.
* Strong project management and problem-solving skills.
