Senior Electronic Technician – Automotive & Motorsport – Camberley, Surrey

A Senior Electronic Technician job is available in Camberley, Surrey, with a global leader in motorsport, automotive, powertrain and electric vehicle (EV) technology.

We are seeking an experienced Electronics Technician with expertise in electronic systems, electronics assembly and manufacturing, ideally within the automotive, motorsport, powertrain or EV sectors.

Based at the company's R&D centre in Camberley, you will support the assembly, manufacture and development of high-performance electronic products for advanced automotive and electric powertrain applications. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced technician seeking a senior or leadership position.

Responsibilities of the Senior Electronic Technician job in Camberley, Surrey

* Electronic assembly and manufacturing of high-performance products.

* Hand soldering and electronic rework to IPC Class 3 standards.

* Working to IPC-J-STD-001, IPC-A-610 and IPC-7711/7721 standards.

* Maintaining quality, manufacturing and safety standards.

Requirements of the Senior Electronic Technician job in Camberley, Surrey

* Proficiency in hand soldering to IPC Class 3 standards (knowledge of IPC-J-STD-001, IPC-A-610 and IPC-7711/7721)

* Experience in electronics assembly within a manufacturing environment and understanding of manufacturing processes and quality requirements.

* Ability to read technical drawings.

* Senior Electronics Technician experience is advantageous.
