Senior Embedded Software Engineer

We’re recruiting a Senior Embedded Software Engineer for a specialist technology company developing advanced sensing and measurement systems.
This is a senior, hands-on role with significant technical ownership. You’ll work on SoC-FPGA platforms, developing the embedded software that sits between ARM processors, FPGA programmable logic and complex measurement systems.
The Role:
* Embedded Linux development in C/C++
* ARM / SoC development
* Processor-to-FPGA integration
* AXI, DMA, interrupts and memory-mapped I/O
* Low-level interfaces and drivers
* High-speed data acquisition and processing
* Porting MATLAB/Python algorithms into embedded C/C++
* Signal processing and hardware/software co-design
What We’re Looking For:
Strong commercial experience with:
* Embedded Linux, ideally PetaLinux or Yocto
* C/C++
* ARM-based embedded systems
* Low-level hardware/software integration
* FPGA-connected systems
Experience with Zynq UltraScale+, signal processing, device drivers, Edge AI or industrial/test-and-measurement systems would be particularly valuable
