Senior Employment Lawyer

Established Public Sector Law Firm in Bedfordshire are seeking an experienced Employment Solicitor to work on a full-time, hybrid basis.

Based in Bedfordshire but with the possibility of working at one of the firms’ other offices in Northamptonshire or Cambridgeshire, this is an excellent opportunity for a Solicitor to utilise their Employment skills within a busy team. You will have a client-focused approach and handle a wide range of employment matters.

Responsibilities

• Handling a wide caseload of employment matters
• Liaising with clients
• TUPE
• Tribunals and appeals
• Advising on employment contracts
• Disciplinary matters
• Trade union matters
• Whistleblowing and grievances

The Candidate

• Qualified Barrister, Solicitor or Legal Executives with a minimum of 1 years’ PQE
• Technical proficiency in employment matters
• Outstanding client care skills
• Strives for high standards in their work
• Able to work well under pressure to meet tight deadlines
• A strong communicator able to explain matters in clear, accessible language
• Personable and professional
