. In this role, you will oversee technical and site infrastructure matters from land bid appraisal through to planning approval, construction, and final estate completions/adoption. The Senior Engineer role

Secure and ensure all technical information (drawings, service/supplier letters, quotations, approvals) is issued and received according to statutory and planning requirements.
Coordinate with legal teams on all legal agreements.
Advise on and appoint external consultants (site investigations, structural/civil services, environmental studies, etc.), ensuring compliance with their terms, timely report submission, and best value design input.
Attend and actively participate in pre-start, monthly site, and other meetings to review progress, provide feedback, and ensure timely distribution of technical information to meet production targets and budgets.
Prepare and submit reports, attend relevant meetings, provide technical support and guidance to departments, ensure cost-effective remediation, and maintain data management systems.
Work collaboratively to promote best practices, monitor performance, and enhance team contribution to business goals. Share knowledge and assist colleagues.
Prepare and issue information in line with Health and Safety policies and comply with all company policies and procedures.
Perform any other duties as reasonably requested to meet departmental requirements and obligations.
The person

HND/Degree in Building Studies, Construction, Engineering, or equivalent. Preferably, Associate Membership of an Engineering institute with substantial post-qualification experience, or a minimum of HNC/HND with extensive post-qualification experience.
Proven track record in residential development.
Understanding of design and specification features related to road and sewer agreements, and ability to maximize value for the Company. Familiarity with utility companies, procedures, licensing, and legislative frameworks.
Proficient in CAD and other civil engineering software packages, cost accounting, and data management systems. Good IT literacy with experience in AutoCAD, Outlook, Excel, and Word.
Understanding of CDM Regulations, LABC/NHBC requirements, and Codes of Practice.
Highly self-motivated and driven.

Up to £59k basic plus £4800 car allowance per annum on top
38.75 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 08:30

17:00, with 45-minute lunch break
