Our legacy of innovation and technical excellence sets us apart as the most advanced air-to-air refuelling supplier on the globe\n\n## What you\u2019ll do:\n\nTo demonstrate, deploy and document both electrical hardware and LabVIEW software technical knowledge within the field of automated electrical test design for the aerospace industry. To provide technical support to aerospace projects and product developments, primarily for military applications. Aligning technical solutions to organisational objectives to ensure the optimum business benefit. \n\n\\- Applies aerospace engineering principles and working knowledge to a range of problems that require imaginative and practical solutions. \n\\- Researches, develops, designs and documents LabVIEW driven automated tests for electronic components, equipment, controllers, devices and systems. \n\\- Performs electrical test tasks allocated by the Electrical Test management team from concept to introduction to use, taking particular account of value, design for re-use, safety, validation, and configuration management. \n\\- When using facilities and equipment, ensures that they are safe and serviceable. \n\\- Creates, reviews and releases technical documentation that defines the requirements, design, verification, processes and procedures that control the governance and operation of electrical test activity. \n\\- Collaborates with technical colleagues outside of the business unit/functional area as needed, to accomplishing objectives. \n\\- Supports the Electrical Test engineering management team in performing the activities associated with electrical tests for avionic equipment and systems. \n\\- Is an effective team member to collectively deliver internal and external customer requirements. \n\\- Supports all stages of lifecycle management relating to development and validation of electrical test products. \n\n## Qualifications:\n\nEngineering or science degree, or equivalent experience following an apprenticeship. \nMinimum 7 years within the engineering or manufacturing industries.\n\n## Skills:\n\n\\- A sound understanding of electrical systems. \n\\- Able to work with circuit diagrams. \n\\- Proficient user of LabVIEW, MS Office, specifically Word and Excel. \n\\- Understanding of digital and analogue hardware and is able to debug equipment using laboratory instruments (DMM, Oscilloscope, etc.). \n\\- Electrical test hardware design experience. \n\\- An understanding of requirements management, configuration management, and health \u0026 safety requirements applicable to office and laboratory environments.\" \n\\- A keen eye for detail. \n\\- Pro-active, able to us their own initiative. \n\\- Good verbal and written communications. \n\\- Collaborates well in a team environment. \n\\- A willingness to mentor less experienced engineers. \n\\- An appetite to learn.\n\n## What We Offer \n\n * Competitive compensation and benefits package\n * Challenging projects in dynamic collaborative team\n * Flexible working hours and 2 days home office \n * We make your aspirations matter \u2013 Eaton encourages internal promotion, whenever possible\n * We make your growth matter - We invest in our employees for the long term \u2013 not just with salary and benefits, but with ongoing learning and development opportunities made available through Eaton University\n * We make your contributions matter - reliability, safety, efficiency, and sustainability are at the core of our dedication to improving people\u2019s lives and the environment through power management technologies.\n\n\n\nThe successful applicant will be in contact with US ITAR controlled technology, goods and information.
