Job Summary: We are excited to offer an opportunity for a motivated individual to join our expanding technical team. As a Senior Engineer / Product Owner, you will play a crucial role in providing superior design solutions for both on-site and off-site projects. Our unique approach requires process-driven individuals with a strong aptitude for solving thermal and power engineering challenges based on their experience and knowledge. Role Details:This role combines time at our Nottingham Head Office, remote work, and occasional global customer meetings (estimated 0-6 times per year).
Collaborate with the Chief Technical Innovation Officer (CTIO) to utilise our data centre simulation tool for customer planning and growth. Leverage your Data Center experience and Mechanical/Electrical knowledge to address data centre challenges using the simulation tool. Understanding the data required for M&E (Mechanical and Electrical) views of data centres to aid capacity planning and end-of-life (EOL) predictions. Lead and scope projects, working closely with onsite teams and contractors. Drive simulation modelling for our data centre technical services. Ensure compliance with Health and Safety, Quality, Security, and Environmental Procedures. Prepare concise technical reports on energy/thermal performance and other project summaries for client submissions. Conduct feasibility surveys, studies, and produce reports as needed. Perform risk assessments. Act as the primary point of contact for technical queries related to active projects. Essential Skills/Experience: Qualifications in building services, mechanical, or electrical engineering. Interest in energy efficiency and familiarity with cooling/ventilation technologies. Willingness to work remotely, onsite across the UK, and occasionally at international sites. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
