A fantastic opportunity has become available for a Senior Engineering Geologist to join a well-established ground investigation consultancy in Harrogate. This role offers the chance to work on a diverse range of residential, commercial and major infrastructure projects while taking on increased responsibility within a growing technical team.

The successful Senior Engineering Geologist will be responsible for managing projects from initial tender stage through to final delivery, combining technical reporting with site supervision and client-facing responsibilities. You will also play a key role in mentoring junior staff and supporting the continued growth of the team.

Managing and delivering ground investigation projects
Overseeing site investigations and supervising subcontractors
Logging soil and rock to current industry standards
Producing and reviewing factual and interpretative reports
Completing Phase 1 and Phase 2 geoenvironmental assessments
Geotechnical analysis including slope stability and foundation recommendations
Client liaison and project management responsibilities

Degree qualified in Engineering Geology, Geology or a related discipline
Strong experience within ground investigation consultancy
Excellent geotechnical and geoenvironmental report writing skills
Previous project management experience preferred
