Senior Estates Engineer

Talentmark are recruiting for an experienced Senior Estates Engineer with a strong Electrical Bias to join a well-established and successful global pharmaceutical company, based in Hatfield, Hertfordshire, on a permanent basis.

The working hours are Monday – Friday, 07:30-16:00 (Call out rota 1 in 6 weeks). 

The Senior Estates Engineer reports to the Engineering Manager and supports the Engineering Supervisor for day-to-day operations. The role will oversee the maintenance and repair activities of mechanical and electrical equipment within the pharmaceutical manufacturing, research, and commercial facilities.
 
Your Responsibilities:

Support the execution, supervision, and coordination of the activities of the utility engineering team and specialist support sub-contractor SME’s, including scheduling work assignments, prioritising tasks, and providing guidance.
Act as a primary contact surrounding HVAC and business critical infrastructure.
Act as the Approved Person (Electrical HV/LV and / or Mechanical Pressure Systems).
Manage and supervise project based small works activities.
Ensure documentation and data are completed to statutory, H&S and GxP standards.Your Background: 

Engineering qualification – Electrical Bias
Proven experience in supervising a team of Engineers or Technicians.
Contractor management to ensure maintenance activities are undertaken according to correct procedures.
Experience using computerise maintenance management systems (CMMS) for the purpose of raising corrective work orders and locating spares.
Happy to be part of on call (1 week in 6), for absences to cover holiday and sickness, as required.
