A leading Civil Engineering Contractor, with an impressive £134 million turnover and a strong pipeline of complex infrastructure projects, is expanding its commercial team. They're now seeking a Senior Estimator with a background in civils, structural, and temporary works to support major schemes-both above and below ground, including high-profile tunnelling and infrastructure ventures.

• Analyse drawings, contracts, and specs to prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates

• Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and designers to shape winning proposals

• Play a key part in monthly CVR meetings, strategic bid planning, and risk analysis

• Represent the company in B2B client and supplier meetings when required

• Support tenders for a variety of civil engineering projects, typically ranging from £500k to £20m

• Degree qualified and ideally working towards Chartership

• Practical experience on site, ideally in tunnelling or heavy civils

• Strong grasp of NEC3/4 contracts, project risk, and bid strategy

• Proficiency in construction estimating software

• A sharp communicator with strong negotiation skills

• Bonus points for professional certifications like CPE

• Salary: £50,000 - £75,000 (DOE)
