Senior Estimator

Your new company

As a Senior Estimator, you'll be joining a well-established main contractor with a strong pipeline of projects across London and the surrounding areas. The company delivers a diverse range of schemes, including both new build and refurbishment projects in the residential and commercial sectors, typically valued between £100k and £5m.

Your new role

You'll be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates and tender submissions, working closely with the project and commercial teams. This is a strategic role within the business, and you'll be expected to contribute to the continuous improvement of estimating processes and systems. You'll join an experienced team with a path to future promotion, including the opportunity to lead and manage the estimating function as the business continues to grow. You'll report directly to the Director and play a key role in the pre-construction team.

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in this role, you'll need proven experience as an Estimator or Senior Estimator within a Tier 1 or Tier 2 main contractor environment. You'll have a strong understanding of construction methods, pricing, and tendering processes, and be confident working on a variety of project types and values. Excellent communication and analytical skills are essential, along with the ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
