Senior Estimator

Acorn by Synergie is recruiting a Senior Estimator to support Project Managers and the Sales Team, ensuring customer satisfaction and accurate pricing. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced estimator to work in a hybrid role with two days from home and strong career development prospects.

• Act as the main point of contact for Project Managers, Sales and Site teams regarding pricing and estimating.
• Liaise with internal departments to ensure quotations and pricing meet agreed deadlines.
• Provide quotations and final accounts for enquiries from Sales, Project and Site Managers.
• Call off equipment from drawings and create Bills of Materials from Excel spreadsheets.
• Discuss quotations with clients and QS, providing feedback and additional information where required.
• Maintain and update customer schedules of rates and ensure information is stored accurately.
• Prepare final accounts ensuring timely and correct issue.
• Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to achieve best prices within budget.
• Comply with Health & Safety requirements and internal procedures.

• 5 GCSEs (grades A-C) or O/A Levels including English and Maths.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in shopfitting or a similar environment.
• Previous experience in estimating, sales support or customer service roles.
• Familiarity with Microsoft packages (minimum 2 years).
• Ability to read and interpret working drawings.
• Strong understanding of costing and pricing processes.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
