The Opportunity

A fantastic opportunity for a Senior Estimator to join a leading residential house builder delivering high-quality housing developments across the South West.

This is a key commercial role where you’ll take ownership of the estimating process, supporting land acquisition, pre-construction and delivery teams to ensure projects are commercially viable and competitively priced.

Role Overview

You will be responsible for:

Preparing detailed cost estimates for residential developments.

*

Producing cost plans and viability assessments.

*

Supporting land appraisals and acquisition decisions.

*

Reviewing drawings, specifications and tender information.

*

Obtaining and analysing subcontractor and supplier quotations.

*

Managing tender processes and negotiating costs.

*

Supporting value engineering and cost optimisation.

*

Working closely with technical, commercial and land teams.

About You

*

Experience as an Estimator or Senior Estimator within house building.

*

Strong understanding of residential construction costs.

*

Experience preparing detailed cost plans and tenders.

*

Good knowledge of subcontractor procurement and pricing.

*

Strong commercial awareness and analytical skills.

*

Organised, proactive and detail focused.
