We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established and highly respected company for a Senior Estimator to join their team in North Wales. With over 40 years of experience delivering bespoke products, architectural projects across the UK, this is an excellent opportunity to join a stable and growing company with an outstanding reputation for quality, technical expertise and customer service.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Review tender documents, drawings, specifications and client requirements.

Prepare detailed cost estimates and tender submissions for structural steelwork, fabrication and engineering projects.

Analyse material, labour, subcontractor and overhead costs.

Obtain and assess supplier and subcontractor quotations.

Conduct site visits where required to evaluate project scope and identify potential risks.

Identify value engineering opportunities and cost-saving solutions.

Assist with contract handovers to project delivery teams following successful bids.

Monitor market trends, material costs and industry developments.

Support business development activities and contribute to bid strategy discussions.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

Minimum 5 years' experience in estimating

Ability to interpret technical drawings and engineering specifications.

Excellent commercial awareness and cost analysis skills.

Strong communication and negotiation abilities.

Capable of managing multiple tenders and working effectively to deadlines.
