Salary: £55,000-£65,000 DOE + Hybrid Working
Location: Greenwich, London | 4 Days Remote / 1 Day Office

Are you an experienced Façade / Cladding Designer looking for a role where you can work on major, high-profile projects and have real ownership over your designs?

I’m currently working with a well-established specialist façade contractor who are expanding their design team and looking for a Senior Façade / Cladding Designer to join them.

You’ll be working on projects typically valued between £3m–£9m, including high-risedevelopments, residential apartments, commercial buildings and tall tower schemes across the UK.

The Role

You'll be responsible for:

Producing detailed cladding construction, installation and fabrication drawings
Panel and sub-grid setting out, elevations and fire barrier details
Carrying out site surveys and inspections
Developing designs from surveys, photographs and site information
Coordinating with clients, architects, engineers and site teams
Liaising with manufacturers on technical specifications, U-values and condensation risk
Supporting material take-offs and technical submissions
Managing multiple projects and design deadlines
What We're Looking For

Cladding design experience
Strong AutoCAD 2D skills
Solid knowledge of cladding systems, panels, insulation, fixings, membranes and fire barriers
Experience with fabrication and setting-out drawings
Understanding of U-values and condensation risk
Strong communication and technical problem-solving skills
Experience with Revit, SketchUp, 3D AutoCAD or Bluebeam is a bonus
