Senior Finance Analyst - FBP

Ambition are supporting a leading international law firm with their recruitment for a commercially minded Senior Finance Analyst to join its Finance Business Partnering team in Bristol. This is a strategic role offering exposure to senior stakeholders, financial planning and commercial decision-making across UK practice groups and sectors.

• Deliver financial business partnering to practice groups and sector leads
• Support long-term planning, budgeting, and monthly forecasting
• Produce management information packs with actionable insights
• Provide pricing analysis and support to partners and bids teams
• Lead client profitability reviews and commercial awareness training
• Collaborate on firmwide initiatives to improve productivity and profitability
• Investigate financial queries and provide ad hoc analysis and reporting
• Mentor junior analysts and contribute to team development

• Experience in a senior analyst role within legal or professional services
• Fully qualified or nearing completion (ACCA, CIMA, ACA)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with large datasets
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
• Organised, proactive, and collaborative team player
