Senior Finance Business Partner – Projects 
Location: Basingstoke / Chessington – Hybrid working
Salary: £65k - £75k + Bonus

We’re working with a global leader in its field.  As they continue to roll out exciting, high-impact projects across a given region, they’re looking for a seasoned finance leader to take the reins as Senior Finance Business Partner – Projects.

You'll be partnering with senior stakeholders across the organisation to drive smart financial decision-making, support major project investments, and ensure alignment with long-term goals. What You'll Be Doing

Strategic Financial Leadership

• Shape and deliver financial strategy for projects.
• Provide executive-level insights into budgeting, forecasting, and resource planning.

Business Partnering

• Work closely with leaders across multiple business functions to drive financial clarity and alignment.
• Offer tailored financial support while ensuring consistency with corporate frameworks.

Performance Analysis & Budgeting

• Lead budgeting and forecasting cycles for large-scale projects.
• Monitor and analyse performance, proactively addressing variances and identifying opportunities.

Cost Management & ROI Focus

• Identify ways to optimise cost and enhance value delivery across key project investments.
• Ensure effective allocation of resources to maximise impact.

Operational Excellence & Compliance

• Champion financial best practices and tools to improve accuracy and efficiency.
• Uphold compliance with internal policies and external regulatory requirements.

Who You'll Work With

• Project Teams – Strategic planning and financial advisory
• Finance Leadership – Budgeting, forecasting, policy setting
• Operational Leads – Improving financial decisions and performance across departments

What You Bring

• 10+ years in senior finance roles, ideally within a global or complex matrix organisation
• Strong experience in strategic financial planning, analysis, and business partnering
• Professional qualification (e.g., ACCA, ACA, CIMA)
• Proficiency in financial modelling and analytics tools
• Confident communicator with the ability to influence senior stakeholders
• Commercially sharp, collaborative, and solutions-oriented
