Finance Business Partner | Nottingham | £65,000 - £75,000

A leading Nottingham-based business is looking to hire a Finance Business Partner into a newly created role. This is a true commercial role - no heavy month-end work, minimal reporting, and no BAU accounting. It's about adding value, driving decision-making, and supporting strategic growth.

Key responsibilities:

• Partnering with non-finance teams (Sales, Operations, Marketing) to support planning, forecasting, and strategic decisions
• Providing insightful analysis on performance, margins, and investment opportunities
• Building financial models to support business cases and project evaluation
• Challenging assumptions and influencing senior stakeholders with clear, data-driven recommendations
• Supporting budgeting and forecasting processes, focusing on forward-looking insight rather than historic reporting

What they're looking for:

• Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
• Strong business partnering background - comfortable working across functions and influencing at a senior level
• Able to simplify complex data and present clear commercial insight
• Experience in a fast-paced, large or multi-site environment preferred
• Confident with Excel and financial modelling
