Reed Finance is partnered with a prominent, highly regarded non-profit organisation in Belfast, in the appointment of an experienced Senior Finance Business Partner. This is a vital role for our client, and it requires an experienced finance professional, ideally with previous supervisory experience. The position offers a hybrid working model and is based in Belfast.

This key position within the Group reports directly to the Director of Finance, managing a team of Finance business partners in the provision of effective and efficient management accounts and management information.

Key areas of responsibility include.

• Management Reporting: To produce monthly management accounts to deadlines| To prepare of annual budgets and forecasts | To interpret and communicate financial information to non-financial managers.
• Project Accounting
• General finance tasks: Accounts prep | External audit | Internal audit
• Management: To direct and manage staff within the Finance Business Partner team to ensure that they are appropriately motivated and developed to carry out their responsibilities effectively and to the required standard.
• Communication: (Internal & External) To attend and participate in internal and external meetings as required

Essential Criteria:

Qualified Accountant with supervisory experience

OR

Part-qualified or working towards an accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with 4 years’ experience in a similar role

AND:

• Demonstrable experience to working to strict deadlines and within current financial legislation.
• I.T. competent, including use of MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Access to car, with full, clean driving license
