Are you a technically strong and commercially minded finance professional looking to step into a senior leadership role? An established and growing organisation in the alternative financial services sector is seeking a Senior Finance Manager to join its high-performing finance team.

As Senior Finance Manager, you will take ownership of core financial operations-delivering accurate, timely reporting while maintaining a robust control environment. You'll lead and develop a team, manage statutory and regulatory reporting, and play a vital role in driving continuous improvement across the finance function.

• Oversee daily financial operations and transaction processing

• Implement and maintain strong financial controls and risk management frameworks

• Lead month-end and year-end close processes, including group consolidation and journals

• Prepare statutory accounts and coordinate the year-end audit

• Apply and implement evolving technical accounting standards

• Develop and mentor finance team members to foster growth and performance

• Act as deputy to the Head of Finance when needed

• Contribute to strategic finance projects and transformational initiatives

Essential:

• ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified with 5+ years' post-qualification experience

• Strong technical accounting and financial reporting background

• Experience producing statutory accounts and managing audit processes

• Proven team leadership and development experience

• Advanced Excel skills

• Excellent time management, communication, and interpersonal skills

Desirable:

• Experience in alternative financial services or accounting under IFRS 9

• Exposure to plc reporting environments

• Involvement in finance system implementations
