Job Description - Senior Finance Manager

Axon Moore are excited to be supporting a growing business in the Ribble Valley to recruit a Senior Finance Manager. This role is paying a competitive salary of up to £75,000 with a flexible hybrid working arrangement on offer.

Candidates must be ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified.

Responsibilities include:

Full ownership of the Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and integrity.
Deliver timely and insightful financial analysis and interpretation to support business planning and performance tracking.
Support the Finance Director in the preparation of year-end accounts and lead the audit process, liaising with external auditors.
Ensure compliance with all statutory and regulatory financial reporting requirements.
Drive continuous improvement in finance processes, controls, and reporting standards.
Collaborate with key stakeholders across the business to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic initiatives.
Manage and mentor junior finance team members, supporting their development and performance.
Oversee cash flow forecasting and working capital management to ensure strong financial health.
Review and challenge departmental spending to drive cost efficiencies and identify savings opportunities.
Assist with financial modelling for new business initiatives, investments, or product launches.
Maintain and improve financial systems and ensure data integrity across platforms.
Lead the preparation of monthly management accounts, ensuring clarity and insight for senior leadership.
Ensure robust financial risk management practices and internal controls are in place and adhered to.
Act as a key finance business partner to non-finance teams including Operations, Marketing, and Sales.
