We're looking for a dynamic, ambitious Senior Finance Manager to join a fast-paced, high-energy team, gaining hands-on experience across the full spectrum of transactional finance while leading and developing others. What You'll Do:
🔹 Delegate and oversee staff responsibilities across the finance team, ensuring workloads are distributed effectively
🔹 Manage task allocation and prioritisation, coaching junior team members to deliver against deadlines
🔹 Oversee purchase/sales ledgers, cash books, loan schedules and ensure accurate reconciliations
🔹 Maintain accruals, prepayments & amortisation schedules
🔹 Prepare management accounts, including budget variance analysis
🔹 Lead VAT & CIS return submissions
🔹 Supervise invoice processing & cash book maintenance
🔹 Manage statutory accounts, audits & financial reporting
🔹 Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors & key stakeholders
🔹 Present finance reports to shareholders & board members
🔹 Act as a point of escalation for the team, delegating tasks and monitoring progress to ensure deadlines are met

What We're Looking For:
✔ ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified (essential)
✔ At least one year post-qualified experience (essential)
✔ Proven experience delegating tasks and managing staff workloads
✔ Experience working in a professional finance environment
✔ Confidence in board-level interactions (experience desirable, but not essential)
✔ Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
✔ Proactive mindset with a drive for process improvement
