Senior Financial Accountant

Senior Financial Accountant- Remote (UK) with fully expensed travel to the Oxfordshire office 2-3 times per Month- ACCA/CIMA/ACA Fully Qualified

IN2 Consult is partnering with a high growth, highly acquisitive PE backed business in Oxfordshire (Remote) on the recruitment of a Senior Financial Accountant to join their team on a permanent basis.

The role is responsible for overseeing year-end statutory reporting under FRS 102 standards, identifying and driving change from an accounting perspective and business partnering with key stakeholders to help aid key decision making.

The key responsibilities for this Senior Financial Accountant role include:

• Drive the preparation of year-end statutory and monthly management accounts under FRS 102 / UK GAAP standards
• Take a pivotal role of identifying and implementing key areas of change and process improvements from an accounting and internal controls perspective
• Work with senior stakeholders to provide insight on key financials and offer guidance on helping drive key decision making
• Producing Variance Analysis
• Budgeting, Forecasting and Financial Analysis
• Ad-Hoc Duties

The desired candidate for this Senior Financial Accountant role should have the following experience:

• ACA/ACCA Qualified with significant years of post-qualified experience
• Have a strong track record of identifying and implementing key process improvements from an accounting and internal controls perspective
• 3+ years of year-end statutory accounting experience
• Strong hands-on experience with FRS 102/ UK GAAP reporting standards
• Experience in partnering with key stakeholders
• Experience in budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis
• Advanced Excel Skills
