Senior Financial Accountant

We are currently recruiting for a prestigious business in Ipswich, who are seeking a Senior Financial Accountant to join their dynamic finance team.

This role is pivotal in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with regulatory standards
- Responsible for year-end statutory accounts
- Conduct financial forecasting
- Oversee the preparation of budgets and financial plans
- Ensure compliance with VAT, tax regulations and liaise with external auditors
- Provide strategic financial insights to senior management
- Lead and mentor finance team

Key Skills:
- You will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA) with substantial Financial Accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial compliance and regulations
- Proficiency in financial software and advanced Excel skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
