Description

• Prepare accurate financial statements and reports in line with regulatory requirements.
• Manage the month-end and year-end financial close processes.
• Ensure compliance with statutory reporting standards and guidelines.
• Coordinate and liaise with external auditors during audits.
• Analyse financial data to support strategic decision-making.
• Oversee and enhance internal financial controls and procedures.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior members of the finance team.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure smooth financial operations.

Profile

A successful Senior Financial Accountant should have:

• A recognised professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
• Strong experience in financial reporting and compliance.
• Previous exposure to the not-for-profit sector or a similar environment.
• Proficiency in financial systems and advanced Excel skills.
• An ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
