Senior Financial Accountant - Basingstoke

Are you a fully qualified Financial Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) looking for your next challenge? We're working with a well-respected organisation that has recently undergone a major transformation and is now seeking to strengthen its Financial Accounting team with the addition of a Senior Financial Accountant.

Based in Basingstoke with a hybrid working model, this is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in the delivery of statutory and management accounting across a large and complex group structure.

What's on offer?
You'll support the Head of Financial Accounting in delivering a high-quality, specialist financial accounting service. This includes responsibility for the accuracy of the General Ledger, managing intercompany accounts, and producing statutory accounts for various entities. You'll also lead on projects and work closely with senior stakeholders across the business.

What we're looking for:

• Fully qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
  
  
• Strong technical knowledge of financial reporting frameworks (e.g. FRS 102)
  
  
• Proven experience in financial/statutory accounting roles
  
  
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  
  
• Strong Excel skills; experience with ERP systems
