Senior Financial Accountant

Ruby Group are looking for a Senior Financial Accountant located in Budapest to join a fast-growing PE back tech company. Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing financial operations, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and providing strategic financial insights to support business decisions. Your key responsibilities will include preparing and analysing financial statements and reports, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations, managing month-end and year-end closing processes, overseeing accounts payable and receivable functions, conducting financial forecasting and budgeting, providing strategic financial advice to senior management, and collaborating with auditors and managing audit processes.

The ideal applicant should have a bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field, along with a professional accounting qualification (CIMA, ACCA, CPA). With a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role is required. You should possess strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, and strong communication and interpersonal skills.
